Early on in my Taxi driving I was dispatched one evening to a customer at the Westshore Centre Shopping Mall (formerly CanWest) in Langford (western communities) The night was pouring rain with some fog. The lady said she could give me directions. I quickly was confused by the directions as she would point left and say Turn right and vice-a-versa. Within minutes we were laughing at the hilarity of the situation and at one point I asked her, jokingly, if she had missed the day at Kindergarten when they taught directions. She was not insulted and we were both off again in great peels of laughter. In the fullness of time we arrived at her destination where she gladly paid the fare and a very nice tip on top for turning her rather gloomy day into one of great joy.
